About us
Welcome to Arctic Foxes Women's Hockey! We take pride in being the longest-running women's ice hockey organization in the Capital District. The Arctic Foxes bring together women who are passionate about playing ice hockey and having fun.
We currently field both Rec and D Level teams, welcoming women of all skill levels from beginners to those with former college or elite travel experience. Our season runs from October - February. If you're interested in joining us, please reach out—we're always eager to welcome new players!
Our Teams
The Rec Team
The Rec Team is a group of women committed to Learning the fundamentals of hockey. We invite anyone interested in trying hockey or learning the basics while having fun to join us! If you're looking to get involved, please reach out! We're eager to welcome new players, even if the season is already underway!
The D Team
The D team is competitive and made up of women with prior hockey experience who want to participate in games and tournaments. Both teams travel across the northeast and compete against local teams. If you're considering joining, please reach out to us!
Our rink
We're thrilled to have called the Houston Field House in Troy, NY our home for the past two years. All of our practices and home games take place on this perfect sheet of ice located on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
